Our terrazzo tiles are manufactured through a highly industrialized process. They are produced in presses that combine microvibrating, vacuum suction and pressing at more than 200 tons. They are then calibrated and polished. Finally, they are cut to obtain their final dimension. The result is a piece with great dimensional stability, resistance to compression and wear. Its composition is extremely compact and free of air.
They are placed with mortar prepared with lime and cement on the subfloor. They are already polished at the factory, it is not necessary to polish them on site. We recommend waterproofing them at the time of installation. This waterproofing is done only once.
Tiles actual sizes are 500 x 120 x 20 millimeters, with a tolerance of +/- 1 mm. Each unit weighs 3 kg and approximately 50 kg per square meter.
