Terrazzo tiles

Our terrazzo tiles are manufactured through a highly industrialized process. They are produced in presses that combine microvibrating, vacuum suction and pressing at more than 200 tons. Then they are calibrated, polished and rectified. The result is a piece with great dimensional stability, resistance to compression and wear. Its composition is extremely compact and free of air.

They are placed like porcelain stoneware. On a concrete folder they are glued with cementitious adhesive. They are already polished at the factory, it is not necessary to polish them on site. We recommend waterproofing them at the time of installation. This waterproofing is done only once. They require skillful installation with an experienced installer.

The actual size of the tiles are 397 x 397 x 18 millimeters, with a tolerance of +/- 1 mm. From this measurement, it is possible to obtain, by means of cuts, pieces of other dimensions: 10x40 and 20x40. Each unit weighs 7.5 kg and approximately 47 kg per square meter.
